Denied Sons of Iglesias are a three-piece Rock and Roll band from Edinburgh and the surrounding areas made up of Richard Brown(Guitar/Vox), Calum MacKinnon(Bass) and Malcolm McCue(Drums/Vox).

The band have been writing and recording together since Spring 2004 and gigged regularly from early 2005 to Summer 2006. During that time they gained a reputation for live performances and attracted the attention of the press with features in the Edinburgh Evening News and a spot in The List's Autumn Music Special 2005. They also received radio airplay on Radio 1's Session in Scotland and self-released a limited edition EP

Taking their influences from a long list including The Twilight Singers, QOTSA, Richmond Fontaine & Dinosaur Jr they play fast, loud, melodic Rock and Roll.

After a break of 18 months spent travelling, immersed in academia, misplacing band members and writing new material, Denied Sons of Iglesias are back with a revised line up, new songs and are looking to start gigging very soon.
